I learned so much from Javan (check him out at All Points Design), he has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of everything permaculture — plants, soil, water harvesting, intangibles, etc. Most valuably, Javan has a wealth of knowledge from many ecological design projects all over the world, their successes and failings, and how those learnings can be incorporated into the next steps for our particular situation.
