Having Javan as a tutor was for me the highlight of the OSU PDC Pro course. Office hours led by Javan were always organized, helpful, and thought-provoking.  His approach to teaching and community building really solidified the social elements of permaculture, which are o ften difficult to capture in online courses. Javan’s technical, practice, and philosophical expertise are reflected in the breadth and depth of his advice, which has not only helped me understand how to use permaculture to design a site but also how to embody permaculture as a part of my life. I highly recommend getting the opportunity to learn from Javan and to work with him.
